Duke Professor Highlights Health Care Cost Savings for PA Patients at the VA

Medically complex patients who receive primary care from PAs can save up to $2,300 in total health care costs a year compared to physician patients, according to research presented by Perri Morgan, PhD, PA-C, with Duke University Medical School.

AAPA Announces Leadership Change

AAPA announced today that the AAPA Board of Directors has exercised its right to part ways with AAPA’s CEO, Jennifer L. Dorn, MPA, as of June 10, 2019. AAPA’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Development Officer Lisa Gables will serve as interim CEO until the Board appoints a replacement. An executive search for a CEO will soon commence.
