AAPA Asks CMS to Make Permanent COVID-19 Waivers and Regulatory Changes

AAPA and 62 PA organizations have asked CMS to make permanent many of the waivers and regulatory changes that were put in place during the COVID-19 public health emergency. This would expand access to care for patients by enabling PAs to practice free of administrative burdens.

The PA Foundation recently selected 40 PAs from across the country to be a part of the new Nutrition Outreach Fellowship. The PA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of AAPA, is pleased to announce the launch of the Joyce Nichols Memorial Scholarship. A groundbreaker in the PA profession, PA Nichols, who passed away in 2012, was the first woman and the first Black woman to practice as a PA.
