AAPA Signs Coalition Letter Voicing Concern over Possible Medicaid Cuts

March 26, 2025

The American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and other member organizations representing the Patient Access to Responsible Care Alliance (PARCA) have sent a letter to Congress regarding potential cuts to Medicaid.

The letter, addressed to Congressional Committee leaders on Medicaid, relayed PARCA’s views on how large cuts to Medicaid would impact patients.

“As health care providers, we are deeply concerned with the impact of cuts to Medicaid would have on the health care system and their potential to harm our most vulnerable patients,” the letter stated. “Further, these cuts will threaten the viability of practices that treat Medicaid patients, financially destabilizing and having a disproportionate impact on those who provide care to underserved and rural communities.”

AAPA is committed to continuing to work with Congress to identify ways to strengthen Medicaid. For more information, contact [email protected].
