AAPA 2022 attendees arriving in Indy today will notice an exciting new theme front and center at conference this year – PAs Go Beyond! But it’s not just a theme; it’s our new brand campaign, and AAPA is excited to give conference-goers a sneak peek into what it’s all about!

To learn more about the new brand and the rollout this June, be sure to mark your calendars to attend Sunday’s main stage event, PAs Go Beyond: Hayley Arceneaux on Space Flight, Medical Research, and Her Infallible Spirit.

AAPA is thrilled to welcome PA Hayley Arceneaux to introduce PAs to the new brand campaign during this event, which will be a one-on-one conversation with Arceneaux and AAPA President and Chair of the Board Jennifer M. Orozco, DMSc, PA-C, DFAAPA. Arceneaux embodies PAs “going beyond” every day as the first PA, youngest American, first pediatric cancer survivor, and first person with a prosthetic body part to visit space.

Her unique experience; dedication to her patients; and commitment to her community, medical research, and the PA profession demonstrate how far PAs go to serve patients and communities.

While not every PA can go to space or step into the national spotlight like Arceneaux, all PAs have a story to tell. Mobilizing you to tell your stories is at the heart of PAs Go Beyond, which is rooted in showcasing how PAs bring compassion to patient care. “Going beyond” means spending meaningful time with patients – listening, collaborating, and healing. Because PAs know increasing access to quality healthcare is more than just a job – it’s a calling.
