Speaker: Clay Walker, MSPA, PA-C

Clay Walker is a PA who began practicing in 2016 in rural southern Illinois, serving in family practice and urgent care. After three years, he relocated to Chicago, where he has practiced in internal medicine, interventional radiology, and urgent care. Walker now practices at the Mayo Clinic Phoenix Primary Care as an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine.

In addition to his clinical work, Walker is an adjunct lecturer and preceptor for Rush University, A.T. Still University, and Southern Illinois University PA Programs, and is a regular speaker for AAPA national conferences, and Peer Reviewer for JAAPA.

Aside from in-person lecturing, Walker teaches for an online medical education group, Medgeeks, where he covers PANCE/PANRE board review and created a primary care mentorship course to augment the transition from student-to-clinician in primary care.

Professionally, he is a member of the NP/PA Subcommittee at Mayo Clinic, a Director-at-Large for the Arizona State Academy of PAs, a Delegate for the State of Arizona in the AAPA House of Delegates, and is a member of the Commission on Continuing Professional Development and Education for AAPA.
