TAPA’s 42nd Annual FallFest continuing medical education (CME) conference will be held from Monday, Oct. 7 through Friday, Oct. 11. If you haven’t been to FallFest in several years, we hope to see you this year as we enjoy the beautiful fall vistas that the Great Smoky Mountains provides as the backdrop to this annual conference. If you come to FallFest each year, TAPA looks forward to hosting you again as you make new memories and visit your favorite places.
TAPA looks forwarding to hosting PAs from across the state and nation to learn about the newest advances in medicine, including the latest treatment guidelines and therapeutic advances. Many individual lectures are specifically developed in accordance with the NCCPA Content Blueprint in order to assist PAs and PA students in preparing for the NCCPA certification/recertification exam, so we hope you will find the agenda beneficial to your practice.
TAPA plans to request CME approval for 27 Category I CME credits during the main conference agenda, with five of those lectures being planned to offer 2 hours of self-assessment CME (SA-CME). Because the NCCPA is awarding a 50-percent bonus on SA-CME, the total number of credits offered during the main agenda will be 32 for NCCPA-certified PAs. TAPA will also offer an additional seven (7) Category I CME credits through the optional workshops listed below. There is also a one (1) hour optional CME luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 10, that will provide its own CME certificates and hours. This brings the maximum number of credits available to 35, or 40 for NCCPA-certified PAs.
