AAPA Announces Leadership Change

The American Academy of PAs (AAPA) announced today that the AAPA Board of Directors has exercised its right to part ways with AAPA’s CEO, Jennifer L. Dorn, MPA, as of June 10, 2019.
“Jenna has done a great job in her nearly eight years as CEO of AAPA to advance the interests of PAs and to put our organization in a strong financial position. We thank her for her leadership and commitment to AAPA’s mission over her many years of service and wish her well in her future endeavors,” said Jonathan E. Sobel, DMSc, MBA, PA-C, DFAAPA, president and chair of AAPA’s Board of Directors.
AAPA’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Development Officer Lisa Gables will serve as interim CEO until the Board appoints a replacement. An executive search for a CEO will soon commence.
