Becker’s Hospital Review outlined 20 things to know about urgent care based on data found in the Urgent Care Association of America’s “2016 Benchmarking Report.” The report shows that the top-reported staffing model for an urgent care center is one PA, one physician, two medical assistants, one radiologic technician, one center manager, and two receptionists. The report found that 90% of urgent care centers anticipated growth in 2016. And since patients are consistently seeking convenient and affordable treatment, the urgent care industry is expected to grow even more in 2017.
