PA practice is regulated by state law. As of January 1, 2020, the PA Practice Act in California laws was profoundly changed as a result of Senate Bill 697 (Caballero) (SB 697). In order to practice medicine in compliance with the law, it is imperative that PAs understand the legal requirements placed upon them. This session will review the changes enacted by SB 697 so attendees can optimally implement measures to improve their adherence to legal requirements and to further enhance their ability to deliver medical services in California.
