Please join us as experts Dr. William P. Adams, Jr, Dr. Caroline A. Glicksman, and Dr. Patricia A. McGuire discuss Breast Implant-Associated Anaplastic Large-Cell Lymphoma (BIA-ALCL).
First recognized by the World Health Organization in 2016, most cases of BIA-ALCL are curable given early detection and proper treatment. This CME-accredited activity was designed to help educate clinicians in plastic surgery and primary care about the diagnosis, staging, and optimal treatment of BIA-ALCL, as well as how to educate patients who have breast implants or are considering getting them about the risk of BIA-ALCL and the importance of early detection and appropriate treatment.
