Student Academy Travel Grants

AAPA is proud to help support student engagement at Conference by awarding travel grants. These grants are awarded to student members from a PA program with a registered student society. Two students per AOR region will be awarded travel grants. These travel grants, awarded on an application basis, are meant to assist in defraying travel expenses.

  • The 2026 Travel Grant application is now closed. Applicants will be notified of their grant status by March 31.

 

Congratulations to the 2025 Travel Grant recipients:

  • Mid-Atlantic Region: Kara Tung, from George Washington University, and Demet Saygili, from the University of Lynchburg,
  • North Central Region: Nadia Chau, from Grand Valley State University and Marie Waggoner, from the University of Toledo;
  • Northeast Region: Alison Clark and Julia Shactman, both from Quinnipiac University;
  • South Central Region: Lexus Wilson, and D’nai Thomas, both from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center;
  • Southeast Region: Emma Grace Kiser from Campbell University, and Nataniel Weaver, from Nova Southeastern Orlando;
  • Western Region: Kaylin Bersamin from the University of Washington Medex-Kona campus and Sydney Kasner, from the Keck Graduate Institute;
  • HOD Student Delegate Travel Grant Recipients: Tatum Brimley, AT Still University, and Salma Ruiz Sandoval, University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
