AAPA seeks an AAPA fellow member to represent the Academy as an alternate member on an ongoing multidisciplinary committee dedicated to describing the resources required to provide services which the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) considers in developing Relative Value Units (RVUs).
As an alternate to the RSV Update Committee (RUC), the volunteer will attend one 1.5-day annual meeting (usually in July) and assist the primary Advisor and AAPA staff with reviewing existing and proposed medical codes. The volunteer is also expected to respond to occasional communications from the RUC staff. AAPA will cover travel expenses for the appointed alternate.
