Hospitalist and Emergency Procedures Course

You will learn 17 high risk procedures in critical care and emergency medicine including airway management, vascular access, paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tube placement and lumbar puncture. Procedures are taught using ultrasound guidance as well as diagnostic ultrasound for shock and trauma. With registration comes immediate access to 17 online lectures to prepare you for the course. At the live course, you will perform 10 hours of simulation based training with nationally recognized procedural experts. After taking the course, you will perform more procedures with more confidence, reducing risk for you and your patients.
