Hand and Wrist: Common Ailments and Injuries

The hand and wrist are common sites of orthopedic injuries, accounting for up to 3 to 9% of all orthopedic visits. It is important for PAs to correctly diagnose and treat these injuries and maladies to decrease pain and promote good hand and wrist function.
