Cancellation Policy Surrounding COVID-19

At the present time, we plan to proceed with the AAPA 2021 in-person conference.

Please be assured that our utmost concern is the health and safety of our attendees and their patients, as well as exhibitors and staff. AAPA is closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19 (coronavirus). As you know, many large meetings have transitioned to fully virtual courses, but we feel it would be premature for us to do so at this time. Information about coronavirus for travelers and tips for prevention are available on the CDC’s website. AAPA is committed to sharing information as soon as it becomes available. We thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we adapt to the unpredictable nature of COVID-19 and its potential impact on AAPA 2021. Please direct any questions to [email protected].

  • If AAPA cancels the in-person AAPA 2021 conference in Philadelphia, all registrants’ registration fees will be transferred to the fully virtual conference.
  • If a registrant can no longer attend the in-person conference due to state and/or institutional travel bans, he/she can transfer his/her registration fees to the virtual conference without penalty.
  • If a registrant can no longer attend the in-person conference due to personally testing positive for COVID-19, he/she can transfer his/her registration fees to the virtual conference without penalty.
  • All other reasons for cancellation will follow the standard cancellation policy noted below.
  • At any time, should you wish to convert your in-person conference registration to the virtual conference, or vice-versa, you may do so with no penalty by contacting Experient Customer Service at 800-929-3347 (US & Canada) or 301-662-4513 (International) or [email protected].
Standard Cancellation and Refund Policy

All cancellation requests for registration and ticketed items must be received in writing. Registration payments made via credit card will be refunded to the original credit card on file and will take four to six weeks. Registration payments made via check will be refunded via check to the original payee and will take six to eight weeks.

  • Cancellations received on or before Wednesday, April 14, 2021, will receive a full refund, minus a $75 processing fee.
  • Cancellations received Thursday, April 15 – Wednesday, April 28, 2021, will receive a 50% refund.
  • No refunds will be given for cancellations received after Wednesday, April 28, 2021 or for no-shows.
  • You may cancel ticketed items and receive a full refund if cancellation is received in writing by Wednesday, April 28, 2021. No refunds will be given for ticketed item cancellations received after Wednesday, April 28, 2021 or for no-shows.
