Regarding Cancellation of AAPA 2020

There is no need to contact AAPA about canceling your registration. All registrants will receive a full refund, including workshops, PA Meet-Ups, and t-shirts, via the original form of payment within 60 days. If you registered for a PA Foundation offsite event, the PA Foundation will contact you directly.
If you canceled prior to March 23, you will receive a refund for the $75 processing fee within 60 days. We’ve created FAQs on the cancellation for even more information.

Legally we cannot refund your conference registration to another form of payment. If the original credit card used is no longer valid, we will submit a refund via check to the address we have on file.
Yes, as soon as your registration and hotel are canceled, a receipt will be emailed to you directly. If you are concerned you did not receive a receipt, please contact [email protected]. Please allow 60 days for your refund to be processed.
Unfortunately, postponing AAPA 2020 is not an option. AAPA plans conferences as far as five years in advance, and we typically have contracts with more than 30 hotels. There is no way to accommodate a conference of our size with such short notice. Additionally, given that it is unknown when the virus will no longer be a threat, selecting a future date would be challenging.
Given that we have curricula for AAPA 2020 already developed and speakers identified, we hope to offer an on demand option so PAs can get still get the CME they were depending on earning at AAPA 2020. We are currently working through the details and will share information when they become available.
If you booked your hotel through AAPA, it will be automatically canceled when AAPA processes your registration cancellation. If you booked with the hotel directly, please contact them to cancel. Please contact your airline to inquire about a credit or refund.
