During this unprecedented time of closures and disruption in response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), AAPA has compiled a suite of resources that may be helpful to PA students. We have also shared resources with PA Program Directors in order to facilitate your continued education during this time.
AAPA’s COVID-19 Resource Center is a place to find tools and resources to help you continue to practice medicine safely and effectively, while keeping your own health in mind.
AAPA’s Huddle is the online community for fellow, student, and retired members. COVID-19 Conversations is a feed that features real-time conversations about COVID-19 to organize and ease the spread of accurate information among providers.
PAEA’s COVID-19 Information Center has many useful links and resources for programs and faculty, including teaching tools and tutorials. We are working closely with PAEA to help programs and students share information and coordinate resources.
Federal Student Aid: An Office of the U.S. Department of Education – Guidance for interruptions of study related to Coronavirus (COVID-19) (Updated March 20, 2020) – This memo outlines the specific recommendations the Office of Postsecondary education has offered institutions. The guidelines allow for some relaxing of requirements, length of term, and Clinical Rotations during the crisis.
From now through July 31, we’re opening access to some of AAPA’s most popular member benefits to ALL PA students for free. AAPA is here to support all PA students during this stressful and uncertain time – by connecting you to a PA student community and offering helpful products and discounts.
