Being a PA ranked third in U.S. News & World Reports’ 2017 Best Health Care Jobs list. The magazine says, “Many of this year’s best health care jobs are also among the best jobs overall.”

Top media outlets like Forbes, USA Today, and Money continually name being a PA as as one of the most promising job in America. The demand for PAs increased more than 300 percent since 2011, reports healthcare search firm Merritt Hawkins. And as of January 2017, there are more than 115,500 certified PAs in the U.S. who interact with patients upwards of 350 million times annually.
