LTJG German S. Herrera

LTJG German S. Herrera is a United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps Physician Assistant currently serving at the Federal Bureau of Prisons outside of Orlando, Florida. He graduated from PA school in May 2020, and was part of the USPHS Senior Commissioned Officer Student Training and Extern Program. He is interested in disaster medicine, and healthcare delivery to underserved populations. When he is not treating inmates at the penitentiary, he enjoys kayak fishing and practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

LCDR Sherray Holland

LCDR Sherray Holland has been a board-certified physician assistant in Maryland for 15 years. She is currently serving as a US Public Health Service Officer at the Health Resources and Services Administration, managing medical training programs, mainly PA programs and medical residencies, and serving rural and underserved communities. Her background includes urgent care, neurology, concussion care, and education. She enjoys traveling, mentoring, and being a mom to her son Ian and Lola the mini goldendoodle.

LT Chelsea Makowicz

LT Chelsea Makowicz is a board-certified Physician Assistant, with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Nephrology. She is currently serving as a United States Public Health Service officer at a Bureau of Prisons medical center in Ayer, Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of Bridgeport PA program in May 2016, and was a part of the Senior Commissioned Officer Student Training and Externship Program. Since commissioning, she has had the opportunity to deploy for multiple missions, including hurricanes and medical screenings at the border.
