Overview

The AAPA House of Delegates (HOD) is responsible for enacting policies establishing the collective values, philosophies, and principles of the PA profession.

The 2021 House of Delegates (HOD) Meeting will be conducted virtually from Thursday, May 20, through Saturday, May 22, with the final session occurring Monday, May 24. The 2021 HOD Virtual Meeting will include all of the traditional business components of an in-person HOD, including: reports from AAPA’s leadership on the current state of the profession and AAPA; Reference Committee hearings; deliberations and recommendations for proposed AAPA bylaws and policies; opportunities to meet the HOD Officer and Nominating Work Group candidates; as well as elections, debate, dialogue, and voting on proposed policies.

All materials for the 2021 HOD Virtual Meeting can be found under the tabs to the left.  Resources on this page will continue to be updated and enhanced in the lead-up to the HOD, as well as during the actual meeting.

The 2021 HOD Virtual Meeting will be a closed meeting of only AAPA members, staff and Official HOD Observers, by virtue of a motion passed in March by the HOD Delegates.

Attendee Information

AAPA members must register to attend the 2021 HOD Virtual Meeting. Registration is open from Wednesday, April 28 – Friday, May 14, at 11:59 p.m. EST. Registrants will receive an email with their login instructions prior to the meeting.

NOTE:  Credentialed HOD Delegates do NOT need to register, as they are pre-registered by virtue of their positions.
