Update and Status of AAPA 2020

March 22, 2020

At the present time, we plan to proceed with AAPA 2020, May 16-20, in Nashville.

Please be assured that our utmost concern is the health and safety of our attendees and their patients, as well as exhibitors and staff.

AAPA is closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19 (coronavirus). As you know, many large meetings have been postponed or canceled but we feel it would be premature for us to do so at this time. However, we are taking steps to explore contingencies, including alternative Conference scenarios.

Our partners at the Music City Center have instituted additional precautionary measures onsite, and hotels in Nashville are open for business. Information about coronavirus for travelers and tips for prevention are available on the CDC’s website.

That said, we are keenly aware of the unique demands that PAs and other healthcare professionals face during this unprecedented public health challenge. Please review AAPA’s Conference Registration Policies.

AAPA is committed to sharing information as soon as it becomes available. We thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we adapt to the unpredictable nature of the virus and its potential impact on AAPA 2020.
