The DBH track specifically offers training in business entrepreneurship skills, health care systems, policy, economics, and finance in order to respond to emerging opportunities in health care reform. The program offers concentration tracks in education, leadership, and clinical. Offered by ATSU’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS), this doctoral program is the only one providing an in-depth understanding of the elements needed to address the challenges in the U.S. healthcare system today. Different types of doctoral degrees exist for physician assistants, but the DMSc can be earned entirely online—without an on-site clinical residency.
