Have you have an interaction with a PA who went above and beyond the call of the profession? Who has the dedication to the profession and their patients unlike any you have seen before? AAPA’s Awards recognize exceptional PAs for their amazing impact on the profession and their patients. Encourage your PA to apply for one of the AAPA Awards: the Military Service Award, Humanitarian Award, Preceptor of the Year, Publishing Award and the Eugene A. Stead Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award.
2015’s Humanitarian of the Year Award winner Gina Brown was recognized for her work in Pakistan and Afghanistan. From 2007-2009, she was the only female medical provider in a Kabul, Afghanistan, health center and oversaw the medical care of thousands of female patients. She created a prenatal care clinic that continues to see patients today.
