AAPA Urged VA to Grant Full Practice Authority to PAs; VA Extended Authority Only to APRNs

Dec. 13, 2016 - As the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs today announced new rules granting Advance Practice Registered Nurses (APRN’s) full practice authority in the VA system, the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) is actively working with senior officials at the VA to institute a similar rule for PAs (physician assistants).

AAPA Launches Aggressive New Advocacy Campaign
