What’s New

• The Houston VA, in collaboration with BCM, is beginning the first postgraduate residency for Physician Assistants in Geriatrics.  Lurie McAdow is the program director for this residency.  There are 5 other residencies for post-grad PAs at other VAs around the country, but they will focus on general Primary Care. The program is set to kick off July 1, 2012 and is a one-year residency with a stipend of just over $47,000. It’s primarily based at the VA with a few months at an out-lying VA outpatient clinic.
