Strategic
Planning
Skills in strategic planning can be utilized at any level of leadership.
This module is designed to set the basics for defining or refining
the vision of the organization. It will also provide a basic
framework and unified message for the board and committees. Goals
and objectives, once identified, will determine the direction and
guide the budget and planning process of the organization.
Length of Module
Reviewing this module should take approximately 40 minutes. Strategic
planning is an ongoing, evolving process. It may take several meetings
of the individuals involved in the leadership of the organization
to apply some of the tools in this module. Most experts recommend
hiring an outside facilitator to help mediate the process and provide
a working plan for the organization to follow.
Cost
The cost of this module is free. We recommend that you continue

Web sites that may have additional information on the strategic
planning process.
