This module introduces the abilities or characteristics that contribute
to personal and professional development.

A Mentor
This module is designed to help constituent organization leaders
mentor PA students in their local areas.
Core
Leadership Skills
In this module we have chosen to examine contemporary thought regarding
leadership and draw from well-known scholars of leadership to assign
meaning to the word "leadership."
Teambuilding
Skills
Whether you're chair of the board of a multi-billion dollar company
or president of your state PA chapter, team building is essential.
Hosting a Meeting
Brush up on how to host a successful meeting by maximizing team member contributions and avoiding common pitfalls.
Organize an Agenda
A well organized meeting starts with a well organized agenda.
Dealing with Difficult Personalities Regardless of how the meeting leader conducts himself or herself, the personality traits of those present may alter the group dynamic. This module is designed to assist leaders in working with a variety of personalities during a meeting.

This module is designed to take you through the basics of the budget
development process and can serve as a blueprint for the budget
development process for any organization in which you participate.

Current postings roles, responsibilities and available leadership

Constituent
and Specialty Organizations
There are chapters in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam,
and in the Air Force, Army, Navy, Public Health Service, and Department
of Veteran Affairs.
Medical
Liaison Positions
The Academy appoints AAPA members to be representatives to a number
of different medical, clinical, and political organizations.
