One of AAPA’s responsibilities is to collect and analyze data to track growth and change in the PA profession. The data is collected from various projects maintained throughout the year by the AAPA Division of Research and Statistics, including:

• the Annual Physician Assistant Census
• the AAPA Opinion Survey

AAPA reviews recently published literature about PAs and the PA profession to be included in the PA Bibliography. 

Also, AAPA gathers information for our comprehensive database, the AAPA Masterfile of PAs.
