AAPA Master File of Physician Assistants
2010 Salary Report
One of AAPA’s responsibilities is to collect and analyze data to track growth and change in the PA profession. The data is collected from various projects maintained throughout the year by the AAPA Division of Research and Statistics, including the Annual Physician Assistant Census.
The data collected from the Annual Physician Assistant Census is used to produce the Annual Census Report and the Salary Report. The Census Report contains distribution and demographic information for PAs across the United States. AAPA members can also access the Census Report Archive.
The AAPA Division of Research and Statistics also produces the Salary Report, a comprehensive overview of PA salaries across the United States. The Salary Report is free to AAPA members. If you are not an AAPA member, click here to order a copy of the Salary Report. The Salary Report is currently in the data-collection process and will be available in the fall of 2013.
AAPA also provides State Profiles for all fifty states and the District of Columbia. Each State Profile includes the total number of PAs, specialty distribution and setting distribution for the state.
Furthermore, AAPA reviews recently published literature about PAs and the PA profession to be included in the PA Bibliography, which is available on our Resources page.
