Membership

Non-voting membership in the Society is open to corporate, professional, academic, institutional and philanthropic organizations and constituent organizations of the American Academy of Physician Assistants desirous of furthering the Society’s purpose.  The Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA), the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Student Academy of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (SAAAPA) all support the Society’s mission and encourages all of its member organizations to become annual sponsors of the Society.

Honorary Members are individuals of distinction who have rendered outstanding service to the physician assistant profession and the profession’s efforts to benefit the public. All honorary lifetime members are subject to approval by the Board of Trustees.

Although the Society no longer has individual members, we do maintain a list of Founding Members who helped us become established in our formative years.  Individuals are encouraged to continue their support of the Society’s mission via tax deductible donations. Donors are recognized via our publications and on our Web site.
