Relationship between Society and PA History Office:
The Board of Trustees of the Society for the Preservation of Physician Assistant History (SPPAHx) serve as advisors for the PA History (PAHx) Office established in July 2001 within the Department of Community and Family Medicine, Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina.

The Society and PAHx Office are both dedicated to preserving, studying, and presenting the history of the PA profession and have formed an alliance to accomplish this shared mission. Sixty percent of membership dues and one hundred percent of donations to the Society will be used to support the various projects described on the PAHx Office Web site at http://www.pahx.org. Sponsors and donors who contribute monies to either the Society or PAHx office will be recognized as sponsors and donors by the Society.

Communication Goals:
The administrative staff and Board of Trustees desire to respond to your inquiries within 24 to 48 hours. Written communication via e-mail to our general e-mail address is preferred but we welcome all calls. If you should call and get our voice mail, be sure to state clearly your name, telephone number, location, date, and time that you called at the beginning of your message. We welcome your questions, comments, suggestions and any information that you might have about people, documents or artifacts to consider for inclusion in the archival database and illustrated history Web site.
