Mission Statement

As the philanthropic arm of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) the Physician Assistant Foundation's mission is to foster knowledge and philanthropy that enhance the delivery of quality health care.

The PA Foundation is governed by a 15 member Board of Trustees comprised of physician assistants and other members of the health care community. Each trustee is confirmed by the AAPA Board of Directors.
