Since 1989, this program has awarded over $ 1.4 million to deserving PA students across the country. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial need, academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and future goals as a PA. For the 2007-2008 program year, 62 PA students received scholarships. The Deadline for 2008-2009 is January 15, 2009!

Applications must be postmarked by January 15. All applicants must attend an accredited PA Program and be enrolled in the professional phase of their program and must be a student member of the AAPA. Previous PA Foundation scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply again. Each application is reviewed by the Foundation's Scholarship Committee which is comprised of physician assistants. Awards are made in May of each year.
