Fellow Member
Eligibility
A fellow member shall be a physician assistant who is a graduate of a PA program accredited by ARC-PA or a predecessor agency, or NCCPA-certified.
Privileges
Can vote for Academy officers and directors with the exception of the vice president and student director and shall be eligible to hold office.

Retired Fellow Member
Eligibility
A retired member is current retired from practice, a graduate from a PA program 15 or more years ago and had been an active Fellow member for more than 12 years.
Privileges
Shall be entitled to privileges of the floor but not entitled to vote or hold office.

Student Member
Eligibility
A student member shall be an individual who is enrolled and attending classes in an ARC-PA accredited PA program or a predecessor agency.
Privileges
Shall not have the privilege to vote or hold office.
One student shall be elected by his/her peers to sit on the Board of Directors and have all rights and privileges of any other member of the board.
Term of Membership
One-time fee that expires four months after date of graduation.

Sustaining Member
Eligibility
A sustaining member shall consist of a PA who is eligible for fellow membership (A PA program graduate accredited by ARC-PA or a predecessor agency or NCCPA-certified) who has chosen not to actively practice in the profession.

Shall be entitled to privileges of the floor but not entitled to vote or hold office.

Affiliate Member
Eligibility
An affiliate member shall consist of an individual from a health profession who is not eligible for any other membership category (Students who are enrolled in a pre-PA program may join as an affiliate)

An associate member shall consist of representatives of businesses engaged in selling products or services to PAs or individuals employed by government agencies who do not qualify for any other membership.
