The Society relies heavily on the generosity of its supporters and friends to achive its goals for the future. Support comes from individuals, PA professional organizations, PA constituent organizations, PA programs, and other sources who have an interest in the PA profession. Individuals who contribute resources to the Society are called donors while the remaining classifications are called sponsors.
Regardless, we hope you will agree that the history of the physician assistant profession is important and worth preserving. It is important that the next generation of PAs maintain the professional identity developed by the professions pioneers.Contributions by sponsoring organizations make it possible for the Society and the PA History Center to continue efforts to collect, identify, and archive important information and photos, and to preserve the words of inportant professional figures in the form of biographical sketches and oral histories.
