VISION STATEMENT

The Society for the Preservation of Physician Assistant History is preeminent in fostering the preservation, study, and presentation of the history of the physician assistant (PA) profession.

MISSION STATEMENT

To promote, through collaboration with all stakeholders, the acquisition, archiving, and accessibility of materials associated with the founding, history, and evolution of the physician assistant profession.

The Society for the Preservation of Physician Assistant History is seeking nominations for 3 positions on our Board of Trustees. The positions are for three-year terms. Terms of office begin on July 1, 2010. For more information on the nomination process go to our Governance page.

The Society's work is made possible by tax-deductable donations. The Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Society is a supporting organization of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and serves as its historical arm.
