The AAPA's Professional Affairs staff has identified the following listing of professional practice topics and associated AAPA resources.  The list is intended to assist PA programs with meeting the requirement regarding the PA role and professional issues found in the Accreditation Standards for Physician Assistant Education. This listing is not comprehensive and is just one of many resources available.

In addition to the resources listed here, other valuable resources include current and past leaders of the profession, state constituent chapters, and specialty PA organizations. Another resource is the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL).  This index, which reviews hundreds of allied health publications including the Journal of the AAPA, is available at most medical libraries or online at www.cinahl.com (for a fee).
