Healthy People 2010 is a set of national disease prevention and health promotion objectives to be achieved by the end of this decade.
Healthy People 2010 has two overarching goals: to increase the quality and years of healthy life and to eliminate health disparities.
The Leading Health Indicators are a set of 10 high-priority public health issues in the United States. The indicators are intended to help everyone more easily understand how healthy we are as a Nation and which are the most important changes we can make to improve our own health as well as the health of our families and communities.

Patient Safety & Quality CareAAPA's Quality Care Committee has developed a patient safety presentation that it can offer to any state or specialty PA organization. Thanks to a grant from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality the QCC can provide the presentation at no cost to the constituent organization. Free Patient Education Brochures
AAPA has entered into a partnership with Vitality Communications to develop and distribute to PAs high-quality patient education brochures on a variety of disease states. There are now three publications available at no cost to AAPA members. The topics are hypertension, diabetes, and weight-related health risks. Additional topics will be added as they become available. Link to order form.
