New to annual conference this year - Showcase and actually sell publications that you have either written or collaborated on at the annual conference AAPA Store Book Corner!

Here are the guidelines:

1) Physician assistants must be your target audience. Content must be non-clinical and relevant to the physician assistant profession.

2) The publication must be either written by or written in collaboration with at least one physician assistant who is a member of AAPA and in attendance at annual conference. Publications written by an annual conference speaker will also be considered, although physician assistant speakers will receive first consideration.

3) At least one copy of the publication must be provided to AAPA for consideration. Acceptance of publications is granted by the sole discretion of AAPA staff. A maximum of 18 titles will be displayed and sold through the AAPA Store Book Corner.

4) The final price of the publication must include at least a 15% discount from retail/list price, must include sales tax, and must be rounded to the nearest dollar. Example: The list price of a featured publication is $50. The sales tax is 8.125%. The price of the publication is $42.50 plus a $3.45 sales tax, so the final price is $45.95 - rounded to $46.

5) Publications are on consignment to AAPA, to be sold on location at AAPA’s annual conference through the AAPA Store. AAPA is not responsible for lost or stolen inventory. Inventory counts will be determined and communicated to the publication’s sponsor in April.

6) The inventory must be shipped to the annual conference location at no cost to AAPA as described in the shipping instructions that will be distributed in April. Remaining inventory must be shipped from the annual conference location before the close of business on the last day of conference at no cost to AAPA.

7) Sponsor may print and ship not more than 500 flyers for display/distribution. Flyer content must be approved by AAPA before they are printed and shipped.

8) AAPA will reconcile sales reports and send a check and corresponding sales report to the publication’s sponsor in June.
