Following up on the successful child care service offered in New Orleans in 2003, AAPA will again offer Camp AAPA, supported by General Mills, child care for children aged 6 months to 12 years during the annual conference. Please remember, children under the age of 18, even if they are registered conference guests or attendees, are not permitted in the CME sessions or the Exhibit Hall.

Child Care

Available again during AAPA's Annual PA Conference. We understand that as parents it is difficult to manage both work and home life. It is especially hard when you throw in a business trip. AAPA will once again provide subsidized child care supported by General Mills during the 2005 annual conference. A nationally recognized and licensed conference child care provider, ACCENT on Children's Arrangements, Inc., will be available on-site at the convention center to care for the children of AAPA conference attendees.

AAPA's child care will be open Saturday, May 28-Wednesday, June 1, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Thursday, June 2, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. AAPA's child care is for children ages 6 months to 12 years. The cost for each child will be $25 for a half day (7:00 a.m.-noon or noon-5:00 p.m.) or $45 for a full day. A flat rate of $200 will cover unlimited care during the normal hours (not including after-care hours). Additionally, after-care will be available Saturday-Wednesday 5:00-8:30 p.m. at an additional cost of $15 per evening. Snacks will provided; however, we will require that you provide lunch and/or dinner-either in the room or by taking your child out. We do request that you make reservations in advance by using the form included on page 11. On-site requests will be handled a space-available basis. Please check the AAPA Annual Conference Web page for additional details. If you need individual child care after hours, ACCENT will be happy to assist you with those arrangements.
