The AAPA reimbursement staff surveys private insurance companies across the country. Working with state leaders and PAs in each state we have identified the top insurance companies in each state that impact PA practice. Our information is gathered via the internet and through phone interviews with personnel at the insurance companies. Please note that the information we receive may not apply to all beneficiaries. A patient's policy may be different and have specific coverage policies or restrictions. A provider's contract with an insurance company may also be different with specific reimbursement and coverage criteria. We recommend you contact the private insurance company directly to make sure these policies are current and applicable to your practice and patients.
