Currently there are two recognized PA caucuses involved in the delivery of international health care.
- Physician Assistants in Global Health (PAGH)
PAGH (formerly known as PAs for Cross-Cultural Involvement - PAXI) is a professional association of PAs concerned with promoting the utilization of PAs in medically underserved areas both in the United States and globally. PAGH promotes international health care, provides informational resources, and helps students with rotations overseas. PAGH offers a selection of publications that may help students and health care professionals looking for international opportunities. - Fellowship of Christian Physician Assistants (FCPA)
FCPA is a non-profit evangelical fellowship of PAs with an elected board of directors and officers. FCPA seeks to cooperate with other groups such as the Christian Medical and Dental Society and various medical mission organizations for the purpose of strengthening outreach. FCPA currently offers a matching grant for medical missions to members. Members may receive up to $1,000 for medical mission trips.
