AAPA awards confer special recognition on members and constituent organizations that have distinguished themselves in service to patients, the community, the profession and the Academy.

There are five award types:

• PAragon  
• Recognition 
• Student 
• Constituent Organization 
• Stead Award of Achievement  

Nominations can be submitted by colleagues, coworkers, physicians, patients, friends, family members or through self-nomination by the individual PA.
