- New PA students identified
- AAPA annually requests rosters of new students from PA programs.
- People who are eligible to practice as PAs are identified
- AAPA acquires lists of graduates from programs annually
- Individuals call AAPA seeking to become members
- AAPA acquires lists of people passing NCCPA certification and recertification exams on a quarterly basis
- AAPA acquires lists of people licensed as PAs by states on a quarterly basis
Unique life-long personal identification number assigned to each person found to be or expected to become eligible to practice as a PA.
- Routine reviews of names, addresses, and NCCPA identification numbers to verify unique records.
